Forest School Assistant Training
SGO’s Level 2 Forest School Assistant qualification is intended for those who wish to become an assistant Forest School Leader or intend to become a Forest School leader in the future, developing knowledge practical skills suitable for the role.
The heart of any Forest School experience is the site. Steve Greaves Outdoors partners with educators to offer a training experience based on first hand knowledge of on site practices and the theoretical underpinning of these for the learners taking part in a Forest School programme.

The Bosk site is located in a rural area on the outskirts of Derby city with good public transport links.

This Manchester based nursery site offers a compact version of the SGO Forest School Assistant training course.

Dore, Sheffield
This is a wonderful opportunity to begin your Forest School Leadership training at our new Sheffield venue.
Following on from our very successful pilot course in 2025 we now regularly deliver our world class training at this amazing setting. Dore primary school has an active Forest School programme, and our training is delivered alongside the amazing work that goes on at the school.
